The PBF belt vacuum filter is a highly automated filtration and separation equipment developed in the 1980s. The equipment uses filter cloth or filter screen as medium, makes full use of the gravity of the material, and relies on the vacuum negative pressure to achieve solid-liquid separation. Its unique design enables the equipment to filter in steps including washing, vibration, hot air drying and mechanical extrusion, solving many problems in the chemical industry. The equipment is structured in a way so that the filter section is arranged along the horizontal axis and the generation process of filtration, filter cake washing, slag unloading, and filter cloth cleaning can be completed continuously. The equipment can be adapted to materials of different concentrations, and the mother liquor and filter cake washing liquid can be collected in stages with excellent washing effect. The equipment has few vulnerable parts and a low failure rate, which can achieve long-period continuous operation, stable operation, simple operation and low labor intensity. Working principle of PBF belt vacuum filter:
The PBF belt vacuum filter uses filter cloth as the filter medium and makes full use of material gravity and vacuum suction to achieve solid-liquid separation. The whole detachable filter disc is used as the vacuum chamber, and the filter cloth is driven by the driving roller to run continuously. At the beginning of the filtering stroke, the filter disc runs synchronously with the filter cloth in a vacuum state; in a non-vacuum state, the filter disc and the filter cloth operate relative to each other. The material is evenly distributed on the filter belt of the vacuum filter disc through the slurry distributor, and the slurry on the filter cloth is suction filtered under the action of vacuum suction. When the vacuum filter disc moves for a certain distance, the control system cuts off the vacuum, and the vacuum filter disc quickly returns to the original position under the drag of the cylinder, and the filter cloth continues to run under the drive of the driving roller, so as to realize the material mother liquor suction filtration and filter cake. In the process of washing and draining, the filter cake is removed by the scraper device at the unloading place. The filter cloth is cleaned and regenerated, and then passes through a set of support rollers and the correction device to enter the filter area again.
Selection guide:
1. Select the equipment model according to the solid-liquid ratio, processing capacity, solid particle size, viscosity, and bulk density of the material. 2. Select the material of the flow-through parts according to the degree of corrosion of the material, and select the filter medium according to the solid particle size and the temperature of the material. 3. For materials containing active gas or steam, semi-closed and fully closed models can be selected. 4. For the materials that need to be washed, it can be washed co-currently or counter-currently. For special washing materials, the leaching model should be selected. 5. For materials with poor filterability and high viscosity, thin-layer rapid filtration should be selected. 6. It is recommended to do a small test for materials that have not been used in the same industry. 7. The liquid discharge method can realize high or zero discharge according to the installation height.
